In my university our GPA is out of 5. My average GPA in the 6 semesters that I had in this university is 4.64; now I want to convert it to be out of 4.5 instead of 5. How can I convert it?

You can do it mathematically by setting up an equation: 4.64 / 5= x / 4.5. Then cross-multiply and you get 20.88 = 5x. Divide 20.88 by 5 and you will get your answer, which is 4.176.
