If the socks are stuck in the mechanical parts of the dryer, you may need to contact an appliance repairman to take the dryer apart. If they have simply fallen through into the body of the dryer, however, you can remove the bolts holding the body of the dryer onto the frame and slide it off. You should be able to access the hallow portion of the dryer with the body removed.
