Make sure he has an inviting place to sleep where he feels safe. Provide a couple of hides - perhaps make them slightly different such as a plastic house and a small cardboard box, and put some comfy bedding in. Make it extra attractive by hiding treats in there and sooner or later he 'll realise what a great place the hides are and start to sleep in one of those instead.
