It's not easy to fool an Englishman that you're also an Englishman. First, research our slang and learn what we mean when we say things like bugger, bollocks or even the word rubbish. Then, master an accent - we don't all sound like posh gits, neither do we all sound like we're from the 1800s slums! google will help you a lot, as will the urban dictionary. All told, however, you probably won't fool her, so you should just be yourself.
