This will depend on how large it is and how you have to transport it. If it is very large and traveling a long distance, then yes, that might be best. If there is some historical significance to the frame, and/or removing it from the frame would potentially damage the art because it is very old, then NO, you should not remove it and roll it, but instead transport it intact.
