Poetry requires a lot more rhythm and musicality in your voice. It's much more important to say the lines as they're meant to be said since so much poetic meaning can lie in the meter. You have to be careful to avoid the pitfall of just reading each line as a single sentence with a pause in between - poetry is often fluid from line to line. Prose reading is much easier, in my opinion.
