The drain hook is hooked on the inside of the garbage disposal drain. How can I release it?

The first thing you can do is move the propeller of the garbage disposal. You should have a key that you insert into the bottom of the disposal which you turn to manually turn the propeller. If this doesn't release your tool, you will likely need to take apart the garbage disposal or call a plumber.
