I rubbed denim with a makeup wipe because it had a matte lipstick stain, bright orange. The stain has gone but the denim area where I rubbed has now turned white. How can I fix this?

You could try staining the area using permanent marker of the same color. Depending on where the stain is and how large it is, this could work. You could also try buying denim patches, and either putting them on on the stain, or cutting the stain out and sewing one in.
