Abstract painting can be anything you wish. Try experimenting with different color palettes. Warm color palettes, cool color palettes, even black and white with a brilliant color added for accents. Use your imagination and you own color preferences. Look at some abstract artists for inspiration. Most importantly, keep your brush clean when mixing colors so you don't end up with a muddy mess.
