Children get sick on occasion, so you're never going to be able to prevent illness entirely, but the best thing you can do is reach out to the other parents you know. Ask them for recommendations regarding daycare facilities so you know that you're sending your child to a clean facility. You can look at reviews online and all of that, but a personal recommendation is always going to be more valuable.
