I'm trying to sell hides on the Grand Exchange. It tells me my account is too new, but I can sell other items. Why is this?

Items like cowhides are commonly botted (obtained by macros/illegitimate players) and so there is a requirement to have at least 18 hours of play time or 7 quest points before you can sell them.
