Emotions play an essential role in an individual's life. Emotion is a psychological state with four components, a positive or negative subjective experience, bodily arousal, the activation of specific mental processes and stored information, and characteristic overt behavior”.

  • Example: A parent might display emotions of happiness as their child receives a gold medal.

 There are many types of emotions some of these are- Anxiety, Happiness, Sadness, Frustration, Boredom, Fear, Anger, Shame, etc.

  • Boredom: ​The state of feeling disinterested in one's surroundings, having nothing to do, or feeling that life is dull.
  • This is a negative emotion, a person feels negatively in this type of emotion.
  • If affects daily life routines, learning, knowledge, performances, etc.
  • Persons are rigid and do not interested in anything,
  • So by all these references, we can say that Boredom is the emotion that can affect the learning of the students.

  •  Pride: Pride is an emotional response or attitude to something with an intimate connection to oneself, due to its perceived value.
  • Joy: A feeling of extreme gladness, delight, or exultation of the spirit arising from a sense of well-being or satisfaction
  • Hope: Hope is an emotion characterized by positive feelings about the immediate or long-term future. Often hope is coupled with high motivation, optimism, and a generally elevated mood.

 Each emotion has three basic aspects:

  • Cognitive aspect: It involves thoughts, beliefs, and expectations that are involved when we experience emotions. For example – your friend may find a novel rich in descriptions of people and places whereas you may find it unrealistic.
  • Physiological aspect: It involves physiological activation. When you experience emotions such as fear or anger, you experience an increase in pulse rate, blood pressure, and respiration. You may also perspire.
  • Behavioral aspect: It includes various forms of emotional expressions. If you observe your father or mother during anger and happiness you will notice that facial expressions, bodily postures, and tone of voice vary with anger, joy, and other emotions
