Option 3 : (i), (ii), (iii)

Learning is the process of acquiring new understanding, knowledge, behaviors, skills, values, attitudes, and preferences. Learning is a permanent change in our behavior and children learn in many contexts such as formal and informal.

  • Informal learning: It occurs through the experience of day-to-day situations. It is that learning that is not structured and can happen anywhere. For example, family, peers, societies, home, during a meal at the table with parents, during playing, exploring, etc.
  • Formal learning: It is learning that happened in a properly structured way. It is learning that takes place within a teacher-student relationship, such as in a school system and classroom.

Hence, we can conclude that all (i) (ii) (iii) represent the contexts in which learning takes place in children.
