Cooperative learning projects
- Here a group of students will be given a project or activity. Students work together on academic tasks in groups to help themselves and their teammates.
- Here student will not be alone, there will be many teammates to help him,
- Students fear asking doubts the teacher can easily clarify from his teammate.
Cooperative learning takes place which reduces the anxiety of students about mathematics.
Formative assessment is a range of formal and informal assessment procedures employed by teachers during the learning process to modify teaching and learning activities to improve student attainment.
- It is an ongoing process usually carried out by the teacher to continuously monitor students’ progress in a non-threatening and supportive environment.
- It encourages a group learning environment.
- Offers an opportunity for students to improve their work after they get the feedback.
- Helps students to support their peer group and vice-versa.
