Option 3 : 2 : 3

⇒ If both the sugars are mixed in proportion x:y respectively,

⇒ 20x + 40y = 32 (x + y)

⇒ 20x + 40y = 32x + 32 y

⇒ 8y = 12x

∴ x/y = 2/3

So, the ratio between x : y is 2 : 3.

Hence, the correct answer is "2 : 3".
