I am planning to make seafood mousse with a covering of sliced cucumber (lining tin with cucumber before adding mousse mix and refrigerating). Will the cucumbers be okay for 24 hours?

I don't think it would be a problem, other than the cucumbers might not be very crisp or crunchy after soaking up the mousse.
