I get that'd you put salt on the ice so it would not melt, but wouldn't that taste bad? Any solutions? (Referring to previous questions)

Don't put salt on the ice. Eat it right away or keep the shaved ice in a freezer compartment (for brief periods of time). You are absolutely correct it would taste bad, so don't.
