Option 1 : Both are equidistant
Let both the train meet at a point A which is d km from the Calicut. For meeting at point A it is necessary that both train present at point A at the same time. So the distance of both the train at meeting point will be equal to the distance of point A from Calicut, that is d km from the Calicut.
Therefore both the train are equidistant from Calicut.
