To mend a minor hole in your stockings, paint the edges with clear nail polish to prevent the hole from turning into a run. Another quick rescue is hairspray. Remove your stockings and then place your hand inside the stocking to gently stretch the snag or run. Spray the snag generously with hairspray. Once dry, turn the stockings inside out and repeat the process. These fixes will allow you to get through the day or evening without having to ditch your stockings altogether.
