"A School Magazine" A school magazine contains the literary works and other information of a school.It is published once a year.We have a school magazine in our school.To publish it smoothly, a magazine committee of usually nine members is formed in a general meeting.The members of the committee are chief patron,adviser,editor,assistant editors etc.The Headmaster holds the post of chief patron and a senior teacher becomes the advaiser.The editor,business editors and the assistant proofreaders are selected among the students.A magazine fund is also made up of the schoo 'Magazine Fee'.The editor invites writings both in Bangla and English.Then, after proper scrutiny, the best ones are selected for publishing.The business editors collect some money by selling spaces in the magazine for advertisements.Generally,the magazines has two sections- Bangla and English.There are messages from the Headmaster and secretary of the school,annual reports,essays,short stories,short plays etc. in it.So,it is important for us.

 A school magazine generally contains poems, Short stories, Essays, one-act plays, jokes, and report of cultural activities of the school. The magazine of this year is at our hand now. It contains many short stories, articles, poems, and travel talks, reports of the games and sports of the school. It has a report of the activities of the scouts of the school. We often see the school's magazines because of our readings while studying in schools. It can also be called a school calendar. It contains many short stories, articles, poems, and travel talks, reports of the games and sports of the school. It has a report of the activities of the scouts of the school.The school magazine has many advantages. First it teaches students how to write. Students are fond of reading by nature. Hence they avoid writing work. To contribute articles to the magazine they have to write something. For their magazine they have to read and write regularly.Secondly , the school magazine encourages the students to carry on their studies with great energy. Every school has a magazine. Because in this magazine, all the memories and all activities of their school should be preserved in this magazine.To read  a school magazine one can know the progress as well as needs of school. Thus we see a magazine is useful to every member of school family, even to public sector.
