Fresh watermelons have 95% water.
So, rest 5% will be pulp.
According to question -
100% fresh watermelon = 42 kg
⇒ 100% → 42 kg
⇒ 5% → 2.1 kg
Since, pulp remains same.
So, This 2.1 kg will be 70% of pulp of dry watermelons.
⇒ 70% → 2.1 kg
⇒ 100% → 3 kg
∴ The weight of dry watermelons obtained will be 3 kg.
