What is the average number of members in A, B and C? Correct Answer 132
Given:
The number of women in B = 60
Men in A and B = 72 and 36 respectively
Formula:
Average of n numbers a1, a2, ..., an = (a1 + a2 + ... + an) / n
Calculation:
Men(A) = / 2
2 × 72 = 36 + men(C)
Men(C) = 108
/ 2 = 60
Women(A) + Women(C) = 120
Women(B) = 60
The average number of members in A, B and C = / 3 = (72 + 108 + 36 + 120 + 60) / 3 = 132
