Ram spend 55% of his income on transport, food, rent etc. and 1/5 part of remaining invest in insurance and 1/3 part donate to N.G.O. and remaining he saves if difference of insurance investment and donation is rs.2400, find what is his saving from monthly income? Correct Answer rs.8400

Given:

Ram spend 55% of his income on transport, food, rent etc.

1/5 part of remaining invest in insurance and 1/3 part donate to N.G.O. and remaining he saves

Difference of insurance investment and donation is rs.2400

Calculation:

Ram spend 55% of his income on transport, food, rent etc.

Remaining percentage = (100 – 55)

⇒ 45%

Ram invest in insurance = (1/5) × 45

⇒ 9%

Ram donate to N.G.O. = (1/3) × 45

⇒ 15%

Saving of ram = (45 – 9 – 15)

⇒ 21%

Difference of insurance investment and donation = (15 – 9)

⇒ 6%

Difference of insurance investment and donation is rs.2400

If 6% of total is rs.2400

Than saving of Ram (21%) is = (2400/6) × 21

⇒ rs.8400

∴ Ram saving from monthly income is rs.8400.
