Calculation:

Let the M.P price of the item be x

Rina gives 20% discount

Cost Price of the item = 80% of x

After adding the transportation charge total amount Raveena pays = 110% of (80% of x)

⇒ 110/100 × 80/100 × x

⇒ 0.88x

Raveena sells the item at 2046 more

Selling price of the item = 0.88x + 2046

She earns a profit of 25%

⇒ (2046/0.88x) × 100 = 25

⇒ 0.88x = (2046 × 100)/25

⇒ x = 9300

Discount = 20% of 9300

⇒ 1860

∴ The discount given by Rina is Rs. 1860
