Last year the total number of students in a school was 4500. 48% of the total students were females .This year 60 males left the school. What is the present ratio of the number of males to the number of males to the number of females in the school? Correct Answer None of these

Given:

Total number of student  4500,  females  48% then males 52%

Calculation:

⇒ Original number of females = 4500 of 48% = 2160

Original number of males = 4500 - 2160

Original number of males =  2340

Then 60 males left the school

⇒ New number of males = 2340 - 60 = 2280

⇒ So required ratio = 2280 : 2160

⇒  19 : 18

∴  The required ratio of Males & Females  is 19 : 18
