Given:

Investment ratio of Sruti and Shankya = 3 : 7

Share of Sruti = Rs. 5400

Calculation:

Let, the total profit = Rs. 100x

Profit percent after repairing of house = 100x - (100x × 10%) = 90x

Share of Sruti = 90x × (3/10) = 27x

According to the question,

⇒ 27x = 5400

⇒ x = 200

∴ Total profit = 100x = 100 × 200 = 20000
