Given:

Distance covered by car in 8 hours = 200 km

Calculation:

First half of the distance = 100 km

Time taken to cover first 100 km = (3/4) × 8 = 6 h

Second half of the distance = 100 km

Time taken to cover second half = 8 – 6 = 2 h

Speed of the car while covering second half of the distance = 100/2 = 50 km/h

A. Speed required to cover 650 km in 13 h

Speed = 650/13 = 50 km/h

A is correct.
