Number of male and female members in different organizations A, B, C, D and E are given in the bar graph. What is the ratio of average number of females in all the five organizations to the average number of males in all the five organizations? Correct Answer 46 : 49

Calculation:

Total number of males in all the five organizations = (250 + 225 + 325 + 275 + 150)

⇒ 1225

Average number of males in all the five organizations = 1225/5 = 245

Total number of females in all the five organizations = (300 + 275 + 250 + 200 + 125)

⇒ 1150

Average number of females in all the five organizations = 1150/5 = 230

Required ratio = 230 : 245

⇒ 46 : 49

∴ The ratio of average number of females in all the five organizations to the average number of males in all the five organizations is 46 : 49
