Present age of tanya is

Tanya (T) = 2 × Mohit (M)      ----(1)

Five years ago,

(M - 5) = (1 ÷ 3) × (T - 5)

3M - 15 = T - 5

3M - T = 10      ----(2)

From equation (1), Put T = 2M in equation (2).

3M - 2M = 10

∴ M = 10 and T = 20

∴ Present age of Mohit is 10 years and Tanya is 20 years.

Hence, the correct answer is 10 years.
