What are the components of a digital multimeter?
What are the components of a digital multimeter? Correct Answer An attenuator, an ADC, a display and a recording mechanism
Digital Multimeter:
- A multimeter is a measuring instrument that can measure multiple electrical quantities such as voltage, current, and resistance.
- Digital multimeters have numeric displays and are more efficient than analog multimeters.
Components of a digital multimeter:
1.) Attenuator: It provides the power to the multimeter for the measurement of the required electrical quantity.
2.) ADC: The analog to digital converter is used to convert analog input to required digital output.
3.) Display: It is used to display the output in digital or numeric form.
4.) Recording mechanism: It is used to record the electrical quantities which are being by the multimeter.
