Let Varun’s salary be Rs x

On the day of donation, he donated Rs 3375

According to the question,

75% of 5% of x = Rs 3375 

⇒ 75/100 × 5/100 × x = Rs 3375

⇒ x = (3375 × 100 × 100)/(75 × 5)
