Given:

Direct Train Speed = 100 km/h

Miata Train Speed = 60km/h

Riyat Train Speed = 90km/h

Distance between Delhi and Kanpur = 120 km

Distance between Kanpur and Ayodhya = 180 km

Time = Distance/Speed

Difference between both the Time Taken helps in making this question easy. But waiting time should also be added.

Calculations:

Total Distance between Delhi and Ayodhya = Distance Between Delhi to Kanpur + Distance Between Kanpur to Ayodhya

Total Distance between Delhi and Ayodhya = 120 + 180 km = 300 km

Time Taken by Direct Train = Total Distance/Speed of the train

Time Taken by Direct Train = 300/100

Time Taken by Direct Train = 3 hour

Time Taken by Miata Train = Distance Between Delhi and Kanpur/Speed of Miata Train

Time Taken by Miata Train = 120/60 = 2 hour      ----(1)

Time of waiting on platform = 1 hour      ----(2)

Time Taken by Riyat Train = Distance Between Kanpur and Ayodhya/Speed of Riyat Train

Time Taken by Riyat Train = 180/90 = 2 hour      ----(3)

Adding 1, 2 and 3

 Actual Time Taken = 2 + 1 + 2

Actual Time Taken = 5 hour

Delay in reaching ayodhya equals to difference between Actual Time Taken and Direct Train
