Concept:

Speed of the Train will be the same while crossing both the two Bridges

Formula used:

Speed = Distance/Time

Calculation:

First we have to calculate the speed of the Train

While crossing the first Bridge,

Total distance = Length of Train + Length of Bridge

⇒ Total distance = (250 + 350) = 600 m

⇒ Speed of the Train = 600/30 = 20 m/s

Now, while crossing the second Bridge,

Total distance = Length of Train + Length of Bridge

⇒ Total distance = (250 + 550) = 800 m

Time = Total distance/Speed of the Train

⇒ Time taken to cross the Bridge of length 550 m = 800/20 = 40 seconds
