Given,

Train is running 3 minutes late.

So,

60 – 3 = 57 minutes

Train looses 3 seconds per minute.

= 3/ 60

For 1 minute it is 1/ (3/ 60) = 60/ 3 = 20 minutes

So,

57 minutes will be lost in 57 × 20 minutes = 1140 minutes

Hence, “1140” is the correct answer.
