Rohan wants to devise a 6-digit password for his new project. How many such choices does he have to devise the new password ? Correct Answer 9 lakhs

Given:

6 digit password to be formed from 0 to 9 numbers

Calculation:

Let us consider:

First digit of password = 0

Second digit of password can be selected from 0 to 9 = 10 numbers

Similarly, all remaining four digits are also selected from 0 to 9.

When first digit is 0 then other digits can be selected in number of ways,

⇒ 10 × 10 × 10 × 10 × 10 = 105

Similarly, For other numbers 1 to 9.

∴ Number of choices to have password = 9 × 105 = 9 lakhs
