Given

Madhu can complete the project in 20 days.

Maya can complete project in 30 days.

Madhu leaves work after working 2 days together.

Concept used : 

When A can finish a work in x days and B can finish the same work in y days.

Both can complete work together in : 1/x + 1/y

Calculation

 As LCM of 20 and 30 is 60 i.e, Total work = 60 units

Efficiency of Madhu = 3 units/day

Efficiency of Maya = 2 units/ day

In 2 days they produce 10 units together.

Maya's efficiency = 2 units/ day

Maya completes 50 units in = 25 days.

Total days = 2 + 25 = 27.

∴ Project completes in 27 days.
