GIVEN:

Quotient is 40 more than divisor

Remainder = 2

Divisor is 6 times of remainder

CALCULATION:

Remainder = 2

Divisor = 2 × 6 = 12

Quotient = 12 + 40 = 52

Dividend = Quotient × Divisor + Remainder

= 52 × 12 + 2

= 626

626 = 48 × 13 + 2

Hence, required remainder = 2
