Length of the track = Periphery of circle

Length of inside track = 2πr = 2 × 3.14 × 100 = 628 m

We know that,

Speed = Distance/Time

Speed of Rohit = Length of track in m/Time taken in seconds

Time taken by Rohit = 1 min 45 seconds = 105 seconds

Speed of Rohit = 628/105 = 5.98 m/sec

Length of outside track = 2πr = 2 × 3.14 × 125 = 785 m

Time taken by Chirag = 2 min 40 seconds = 160 seconds

Speed of Chirag = 785/160 = 4.90 m/sec

Speed of Rohit is more than the speed of Chirag.

∴ Rohit runs faster.
