In an office, there are 30% female employees. 40% of the male employees are UG graduates. The total 48% of employees are UG graduates out of 1800 employees. What is the number of female employees who are UG graduates? Correct Answer 360

Let number of total employees = 100x

Now, female employees = 30% of 100x = 30x

And, male employees = 100x – 30x = 70x

Also, number of UG graduated males = 40% of 70x = 28x

Total number of UG graduated employees = 48% of 100x = 48x

Hence, number of UG graduated females = 48x – 28x = 20x

According to question, 100x = 1800

⇒ x = 18

∴ Number of UG graduated females = 20x = 20 × 18 = 360
