Given:

Speed of Intercity express = 50 km/h

Speed of Suvidha express = 100 km/h

Distance between Udaipur to Jaipur = 350 km

Formula used:

Speed = Distance/time

Distance = Speed × time

Calculations:

Distance covers by Suvidha express to reach at Ajmer = Speed × time = 100 × 2 = 200 km

Distance Travels by Intercity express in 2 hours = Speed × time = 50 × 2 = 100 km

Distance between Udaipur to Ajmer = Distance between Udaipur to Jaipur – Distance between Jaipur to Ajmer

⇒ Distance between Udaipur to Ajmer = 350 – 200 = 150

⇒ Intercity travels 100 km and it has to travel 150 km to reach at Ajmer

⇒ Intercity needs to travel 50 km to reach at Ajmer

⇒ Time taken by Intercity to reach at Ajmer = distance/speed = 50/50 = 1 hour
