Given:

Original speed of bike = 60 km/h

Distance = 300 km

Formula used:

Speed = Distance/Time

Concept:

Time left = Total Time – Time wasted

New Speed = Total distance/Time left

Calculation:

Time Taken = Distance/Time

Time Taken = 300/60

Time Taken = 5 Hour

Time wasted when he goes back because he forgets the purse is 60 min and time wasted when he was going back and when he met with the police is 2 Hour.

Total Time wasted = 1 + 2 = 3 Hour

Time Left = Total Time – Time wasted

Time Left = 5 – 3 Hour

Time Left = 2 Hour

Distance need to travel is 300 km

New Speed = Distance/Time Left

New Speed = 300/2

New Speed = 150 km/h
