Average earning for first 11 months = 3000 yen

Formula Used∶

Sum of the observation = Average × No. of observations

Calculation∶

Earning per month = 4800 yen

Total earning in a year = 4800 × 12 = 57600 yen

Average earning = 3000 yen

Earning for 11 months = 3000 × 11 = 33000 yen

Now, salary for the last month = (57600 – 33000) = 24600 yen

∴ He earn 24600 yen in the last month.
