Formula Used:

Average = Total sales/Number of paintings

Calculations:

Average sales for first 3 days = Rs. 17380

⇒ Total sales for first 3 days = Rs. 17380 × 3 = Rs. 52140      ----(1)

Average sales for last 3 days = Rs. 23120

⇒ Total sales for last 3 days = Rs. 23120 × 3 = Rs. 69360      ----(2)

Adding (1) and (2), we get

Total sales = Rs. (52140 + 69360) = Rs. 121500

Average sales for 1 week = Rs. 121500/7
