The population of a city is 2500, 30% of females drink wine, 40% of males want to drink juice. The total number of male who does not want to drink juice is 600. Find the total number of females who don't drink wine. Correct Answer 1050

Given:

Total population of a city = 2500

Percentage of female who drink wine = 30%

Percentage of male who drink juice = 40%

Number of male who don't drink juice = 600

Calculation:

Male drink juice = 40%

⇒ Male who don't drink juice = 100% - 40% = 60%

⇒ 60% ~ 600

⇒ 1%~10

⇒ Male who drink juice = 40% = 400

Total number of male = Male who drinks juice + Male who doesn't drink juice

⇒ 1000

⇒ Total number of female = 1500

Female percentage who don't drink wine = 100% - 30%

⇒ 70%

Number of females who don't drink wine = 1500 × 70/100

⇒ 1050

∴ The total number of female who doesn't drink wine 1050.
