Given:

Meeting scheduled time = 11:00 am

Distance = 100 km

P starting time = 9:45 AM

Speed of the car = 60 kmph

Concept Used:

Distance = Speed × Time 

Calculation:

Time is taken by P to travel 100 km = 100/60 ⇒ 1 hour 40 mins

When P starts at 9:45 AM and travels for 1 hour  40 mins 

He will reach the meeting place in = 9:45 + 1 hour 40 mins ⇒ 11:25 AM

The Meeting is scheduled at 11:00 AM,so

11:25 - 11:00 = 25 mins 

∴  'P' is late to the meeting by 25 minutes
