Total number of workers = 200 The total number of workers whose daily wages are less than Rs. 550 is what percentage less than the total number of workers whose daily wages are Rs. 550 and above? Correct Answer 40%
Calculation:
The total number of workers whose daily wages are less than Rs. 550 = (20 + 25 + 30) = 75
The total number of workers whose daily wages are Rs. 550 and above = (25 + 40 + 60) = 125
The total number of workers whose daily wages are less than Rs. 550 to the total number of workers whose daily wages are Rs. 550 and above
⇒
⇒ (50/125 × 100)
⇒ 40%
∴ The required percentage is 40%
