Study the graph and answer the question given below. The given graph represents the number of workers getting daily wages (in Rs.). Total number of workers = 200 The ratio of the total number of workers whose daily wages are less than Rs. 500 to the total number of workers whose daily wages are Rs. 600 and above is: Correct Answer 9 : 20
Calculation:
The total number of workers whose daily wages are less than Rs. 500 = (20 + 25) = 45
The total number of workers whose daily wages are Rs. 600 and above = (40 + 60) = 100
The ratio of the total number of workers whose daily wages are less than Rs. 500 to the total number of workers whose daily wages are Rs. 600 and above
⇒ (45 : 100)
⇒ 9 : 20
∴ The required ratio is 9 : 20
