- Pain around the Pelvic Girdle is usually caused by the Joints Moving Unevenly because of the Braxton Hicks Contractions which can lead the Pelvic Girdle to become less stable and more painful. The pain gradually subsides once the baby is born.
Braxton Hicks Contractions
- These are the false labor pain and also the prodromal pains that pregnant women might have before the true labor pain.
- These are the contraction of the uterus that typically are not felt until the second or third trimester of pregnancy. These contractions are the body's way of preparing for the true labor, but they do not indicate that the labor has begun.
