GIVEN :

A pot contains 60 litres of curd, from the pot, 12 litres of curd was taken out and replaced by an equal amount of water.

CALCULATION :

Required quantity of curd 

= 60 × (1 - 12/60)2 

= 60 × 16/25 

= 38.4 litres
