Calculation:

⇒ The area of road to be laid = Area of new rectangle with the road - area of field =  {(25 + 4) × (23 + 4)} – (25 × 23)

⇒ 208 m2

⇒ The overall cost = 208 × 33 = 6864

∴ The required result will be 6864.
